Warning: Spoiler! - Thoughts.. (Click to show)

I bought this shirt months ago but have not yet worn it. Would/should have rolled up my sleeves however it is freezing today.

Sleeves definitely need shortening (along with the shirt length).

Also I think the shirt looks awesome un-tucked but it is just too long at the moment.

The shape of Gitman shirts as a casual untucked shirt is really nice. I guess that is not news to you guys though.

By the way, for anyone curious, renting an apartment in Japan is brutal, especially for foreigners and if the rent is above a certain threshold. We are subject to incredibly intrusive background checks - my girlfriend and I had our previous and current employers, current landlords, and guarantors all prodded with invasive questions ("is NicelyNice a trustworthy person? Has he ever lied to you about his finances?" to my boss) that made it seem like we were asking for security clearance. Our total first month rent on a 1800/month place is gonna be a sweet non-negotiable $8000+ after all the building owners, landlords, real estate agents, insurers, guarantors, etc. have been paid off.

Maybe I don't remember what it's like back home, but I sure miss the days of bringing an envelope stuffed with cash and signing the lease agreement right there on the spot in my college days

Not to derail this thread, but I had a bunch of french friends living in NYC one summer (all working as interns for local radio stations and what not) and the landlord asked them to pay the full 6 months up front IN CASH. They literally brought a brown paper lunch bag full of cash to the lease signing. $21K.

That's crazy, I usually find my landlords don't like being paid in cash. One time I brought ~$1500 in cash and the guy didn't want to take it because he was afraid of getting mugged.
