look, can't we just blame the obesity thing on Paula Deen and move on?

lol if you aren't already so irreperably dissatisfied with your own physical, mental, and emotional being and thus consumed with self-hatred that you can't even remember a time where you could fathom the existence of another human

Tegs my bro. Didnt you make a similar argument to nahnuens a while back, maybe around the great smoking debate of 2013?

i somewhat did.

a number of people had posted after someone posted a pic of them smoking that OMG you should stop smoking because its such a financial burden, and i pointed out that there are some studies that suggest in a nationalized health care system smoking (and even obesity) can be a financial boon because they kill people earlier in life.

my real point was its stupid to tell people to stop smoking on the internet.

Except for when I breath that shit in involuntarily. Same with sitting next to / seeing fat people.

shit where are you that you breath in second hand smoke? i live in virginia where cigarettes are $4.50 a pack and you can barely smoke on the street anymore.

I should probably be clear that In Real Life I have nothing but love for everyone and everything

ever the humanist, aren't we, teger? how do you hold smoking and obesity to such different standards? fuck it, they're all going to die anyway! but if they're fat, they're going to live shitty lives, so it's a terrible thing they need to be educated about!

so i guess the moral of this entire story is that it's pointless to tell people to stop being assholes on the internet because they're not going to listen, amirite?
well the difference is obviously that smoking actually makes you thinner, thus more appealing in clothing, and therefore less offensive visually, right? and isn't that everyones goal, to be as thin as possible?

yeah, except that like twice a month I'm hit by a car while texting-smoking-eating a bacon cheeseburger on my bike and taken to the hospital for emergency care where i get like six MRIs, a bypass and some "medically necessary" lipo, none of which I can pay for because I'm spending my cash on dopeass #jawnz so it's all covered by the tax payer thank you very much.
