Shirt is lavender if you can't see the colours right.

I have no idea how to feel about that.

nah but seriously, ambivalence is the feeling I was hoping to elicit with this fit.

nah but seriously seriously, say how you feel man!

if it helps the gloves are less inyourface green IRL, more of a subtle olive.

Not feeling the shape of that v neck and lighting is kinda hard to see everything else

if there wasn't a computer in the pic i would have thought it was from the 70s
post #96171 of 117666
Haha, I got the 70's vibe too.

But seriously, the fit is good on paper but doesn't really work here. I think it's the combination of the haircut (sorry), the not-so-flattering scoop neck tee (you have to be skinnier to pull off those deep necklines, imo) the super high waist pant and actually even the interior, photo quality and bad lightning. Every piece is great on it's own but it somehow manages to look a bit costumey and dated for me.

I love that you're experimenting though and I think you're on to something that will be great soon enough.

For me, the tee ruins whatever good potential the fit had... I really like the coat and pants as individual pieces but the colour, cut, and neckline of the tee aren't working for me at all.

Maybe that fit would work better with a longer, less structured coat

but yes to the necklaces--what is that?

The thing that's really throwing off your fit is the combination of summery, deep v-neck and those knit gloves. Makes it look rather impractical and costumeish.

The tee+necklace+high pants give me some sort of Turkey/mid-east vibe. Something you'd see a dude at a hookha bar wear. Can't see everything too well, but jacket seems too structured/normal to go with that. Some asymmetry, more flow, perhaps could work better. Also, as somebody pointed out, the hair doesn't really match the look. Probably still wouldn't throw the gloves in for the fit. And as usual with your fits, the color palette confuses me. I sort of see it working, but I sort of feel it's a bit out there, without using loud colors.
