People are gonna recommend AA loose summer crew, but I think you'd need an Xl which they don't make (a large is too tight in the chest for me as a 42).. Everlane large might be worth a shot.

I purchased two v-neck tees from Nordstrom this weekend. Some brand called "Public Opinion"... really nice cotton, not-too-deep v-neck, etc. I like em, but not slutty enough IMO.

i'm of the opinion that shallow v-necks are probably the most unflattering shirts available

I mean, they're not shallow... but not super, ultra deep like I've seen in some of the super fancy $200 tees. redface.gif

If AA tees only go to 42 chest... they may be a bit small.

The AA tees should work just fine. I have some v-necks in a size L and I typically wear a 44 or 46 jacket.
