a few things i do

- make sure the chest isn't too tight, because when it is it tends to exaggerate the hips. i think this is the big thing, really
- go for tops with longer length. this isn't as important as the first point, and the tops don't have to be goth-ninja long, but i try to avoid really cropped jackets
- i find tapered bottoms help to balance out my narrower shoulders. fuller leg openings make me look bottom-heavy. but then again i've seen japanese doods pull off this look really well, so ymmv
- padded shoulders are pretty sweet. not totally necessary, but they work magic on my shoulders.

any black denim will do, or blue denim with a more muted, "sinister" tone

dug through my closet this weekend, and i found this hat i bought as a gag a few years ago. thought it would be fun to try out. i think it is too small to be worn seriously.

I believe the angle of the photo wasn't the greatest. I wasn't sure about the size and style when I bought it tbh. I mean It looks really great but wasn't sure I could pull it off. Here are two other pics from distance with a better angle I believe. What do you think, still looks wierd?

Stitches, thick cardigan + big beard demands a wider-brimmed hat.

(You probably knew that already, but it still looks pretty good.)

That jacket is pretty nice. Pity that it's one size smaller, but it might stretch.

In the country Georgia there is a region called Svaneti and locals wear this kind of hats.

No complaints about the weather today - perfect weather for a stroll along the creek, and watching the world go by with a cool pint in my hand...

Thanks - yes it needed a belt, but a light grey or straw coloured one would be needed, something I need to purchase (I tried black and mid brown and they didn't work at all).
