+1, the boat shoes definitely bring it down a notch, but no complaints otherwise.

I like the NYR fit, although I stand by my earlier comment that the W+H shirt would look better up one size.

welcome to styleforum. your transformation is imminent.

jeans, hoodie, polo, and puma sneaks all need to go.

replace with toj leather, slim raw jeans, white tee, and cps or gats to become a sf robot.

Read more before posting pics. One weekend isn't enough time.

Yeah, I think a pair of suede bucks would also have worked with that fit, too. I don't have many casual shoes at the moment, so the boat shoes were all I had. Thought Alden cigar LWBs and the like were a bit too formal. Appreciate the feedback!

Yes the 30's/40's proportions takes a bit of getting used to.

They're cut that way to hang from the braces (suspenders)

@nicelynice: That jacket is amazing, and all of your fits are so solid.

I think it's the haircut. That haircut screams 'I should be wearing business casual', so it comes off costumy.

im pretty sure a samurai champloo haircut would not have gone over much better either with people who don't like the fit anyways. I didn't really wear it to be dressy or weird... rather more like a loungey dressed down but of course something as dramatic is a kimono shirt jacket can easily turn people off wink.gif

anyways. thanks all for the comments. might work better with sandals or lighter boots as suggested by synth and chaut and perhaps some less slim pants
