Normandy.

I'm not going to lie, I got a little teary eyed. Something about how serene everything looked and the amount of history there, seeing rows upon rows of graves is just one of those "Jesus...." moments.

Looks awful though and he probably thinks its top of the line ****.

Well no, I actually am very well aware 7FAm is not top of any lines. If I could afford I would replace my 7FAM with Dior Homme and my Diesels with Balmain or even PRPS then I most certainly would. Those are what I would prefer. However, I have a wife and kid so I work within my means.

Thank you for all of your comments. I have read a lot here before posting so I am aware of the disdain for Diesel. I do not share in that with you though. I am not a big fan of 7FAM. My wife bought these for me and they went well with what top I wanted to wear so I wore them. Maybe for Christmas ill be able to buy myself some real quality stuff. But until then...

I recommend the following course of action:

- eBay some of the stuff you're not that crazy about to free up some cash.

- Browse the forum and find some jeans fits that a) get some love here and b) appeal to you, paying attention to brands, sizing, body types, &c.

- Go to a store that stocks some of those brands and try them on in person. I have no idea where you are, so you may have to settle for buying online from someone with a decent return policy (in which case you can also photograph yourself to get a better perspective on how they look on you).

Jeans are better than those awful pre-distressed ones. Agreed that the shoes should be more substantial for that wide of a leg opening, and they look like they could be sized down.

artishard, why ditch the DR vest? It looks sick.

The insole of the shoe is printed "Diet Butcher Slim Shin". Srsly.
You need to pull your jeans above your shoes.

Where did you go? (Btw: you can use an empty mussel shell as 'eating tweezers' in stead of a fork.)

Staying in Caen, checked out Omaha. I figured out the shell part afterwards.

Wish I had gotten the person to take a better WAYWT, view was pretty amazing and my ****** photo doesn't do justice.

Nice. I spent a few vacations in Normandie/Bretagne in my teens. Went to Omaha Beach as well. Weather seems great.

Bigger question is if you had the mussels with or without cream?

Awesome fits, Lel and SPK. That DR fit looks better and better each time I see it, Lel.

SPK, do you mind if I ask what brand that jacket is? The color is fantastic!

My vote is for keeping it. Not many people can pull off a DR vest, at least not without a large beard and larger beer gut.
