I bought some brown boots since I realized all my footwear is either black, grey or white. Feels kind of weird to wear brown now.

you always look like you're casing someone's house. just rob them already! they probably wouldn't mind too much.

This was shot with a 200mm at a 4 F-stop at 200th of a sec shutter speed.

Sorry to necro some old shit, but I was screwing around with my camera today and thought this was interesting. I have what is called a bridge model camera, not a DSLR but a little bit more than a P&S. It has a full manual mode, but there are limitations. When I set the lens length to 200mm the camera won't let me select anything lower than a 5 F-stop. This has been this week's installment of "You Get what You Pay For."

Note: please do not advise on purchasing a new camera. Quite happy with current one, despite its limitations.

Biggskip, the f-stop is usually variable on a zoom lens...

I can vary the F-stop, but not to anything lower than 5. If I decrease the lens length then I can select a lower F-stop, say 4.

Right, let me rephrase.... the minimum f-stop is usually variable on a zoom lens depending on focal length. Totally normal.

the preist of SZ?

Oh dear me how can we judge the fit when the poor chap isn't even in a robo-pose? I cannot possibly properly guage the collar gap and we are not sure if his jacket covers his posterior. In addition the crown of that headgear is .934556669th of an inch too big

Oh well carry on.

Yes - maintaining a fixed wide aperture over a full zoom is pricey and adds a lot of bulk. I've got an old 80-200 f2.8 zoom and it's a great lens, but it's probably the size and weight of three or four bridge cameras put together.

Don't you normally lift the lid and drop the pants before straining that hard?
