I don´t know, after getting a few pair of bbs and devoa pants, I don´t really wanna wear regular jeans anymore.

I'm saying, if someone is having issues with fancy designer denim/pantaloons, they should give plebian Levis a try because they're not all dad jeans and repro workwear shit. smile.gif

If fancy designer stuff works for you, awesome.

the pocket stitching on my black 511s is also black and is invisible except at close range. it's not that noticeable.

I know, moo. I wasn´t implyig everyone should ditch jeans for avant garde designer pants. If my local levi´s had jeans at prices like in the US, I´d probably grab a few different pairs. But when I think what I´d have to spend copping them online, including shipping and customs duties, I just prefer to put that money on something more "meaningful".

I agree with you that it´s a nice altertanive if you can get a pair of good fitting jeans under 100 bucks and not have to spend 3+ bills on Diors or whatever else.

yeah my black 511s have black stitching and my white 511s have white stitching so I haven't removed it on those jeans (though I did take the patch off the white ones because it is black), but I did take the yellow stitching off the pockets of my indigo levis.

elisix has not changed one bit.

First part likely true. Second is not IMO, though your entitled to your opinion of course.

BUT-- elisix's latest photo gave me an idea. i want another Australian SF member to figure out where elisix works, where he shops for groceries, etc, and capture a pic of him in the wild. A candid photo, ideally. I guarantee it will be way more flattering than the shots he takes while standing in front of his mirror. Like, no one puffs out their chest all the time, right?

Asked my wife to snap me this morning.

She asked me afterward, 'do I have to do this everyday now?' nod[1].gif

lol you guys make me laugh.

I looked over a bunch of my pictures this morning and realized something.

1. Pictures taken in front of one of our bedroom mirrors (wardrobe) make my ratio look 50:50 (short legs)

2. Pictures taken in our hallway mirror (which is leaning and tiled) show a much more accurate ratio 60:40 or better (long legs)*

3. Pictures taken in front of my work bathroom mirror are well proportioned but can only go down to just below my hips.

* However with this hallway mirror, the angle does make me look like i'm puffing my chest. Though it is not intentional.

This should give you an idea of my chest and 'gut'. Broad shoulders and chest, yes. Gut?, not really.

That first pic from your wife is by far the coolest you have looked in this thread, with the caveat that you should button the sleeves of the jacket. Not sure if you're trying to pull a NYI cuff roll or what, but just tighten that up and it looks great.

As for your posture, everyone is just breaking your balls and you really don't need to worry about how your posture looks in WAYWT photos. Take it from someone who is spending every other day in physical therapy thanks to slumping shoulders, your posture is fine and you should be thankful you look like a robot and not a caveman.

lol, no that wasn't intentional.

Last time I wore this jacket I rolled the sleeves a couple times. They should have been done up.

Sleeves of the shirt still too long and without the jacket they are now cuffed above my elbow.
