They do decent Loden caps too smile.gif

I occasionally try wider brimmed hats but have struggled to find anything that looks right.

I like the trilby on you.

Hahaha that wasn't a serious comment insulting you, dude - you look good.

I think you've probably been in Paris too long (a good thing) if you're somehow unaware of the legion of people anal about Hat Knowledge and Anime Knowledge and nothing else.

For anyone who cares... a trilby is generally defined as having a narrower brim than a typical fedora, typically has a slightly lower crown and a lowered brim at the front with a raised brim at the back. It's essentially an English version of the traditional Tyrolean hats. The name 'Trilby' was from a stage production of a Daphne Du Maurier play (the lady who wrote 'Rebecca' and 'The Birds'). If you go into any decent hat shop and ask for a trilby they're not likely to offer you a fedora, although obviously they're closely related.

Fumster, don't like the 5ZIP and trilby combo. Hatless is always better in my opinion, that kind of hat I wouldn't use unless at the beach where the sun and salt water call for it
