try downloading a timer app for your phone, propping it on something about chest height or higher, and then walk normally past it. As long as its in focus, that generally leads to much better pictures.

Hello

brands (Click to show)

EG | Bape | Dana Lee | Adidas

I really need a place with better lighting:
Farah Vintage/Vive Shirt/Brooks Brothers/Unbranded/Adidas

How does this fit? It's my first thigh length coat.

Excuse the shoes,I know they are neither patent nor oxfords

Hard to excuse the shoes. They're just too informal. Also, the pants don't look great either.

I like the jacket though!

Top half is winning for sure.

Shoes as you say are the biggest issue.

something seems off in this fit, and I'd be grateful if one of you could tell me what it is.

cardigan with shorts seems odd to me.

cardigans + shorts is the problem
Especially that cardigan which is a fuzzy winter cardigan.

Well the shoes (matt leather) did look really shiny and black under light, but I know it's not really an excuse. All the same, I don't want to get a pair of cheap patent oxfords that would probably ruin the outfit or a really expensive pair that ill wear just maybe twice a year.

Would these wholecuts be an acceptable substitute for patent oxfords?

sidenote, that bowtie is huge and I'm pretty sure it's supposed to go outside the collar, not underneath it.

Not a big deal anywhere but styleforum IMO. Men's patent formal shoes are on their way out if not gone already, but black leather Oxfords would certainly solve the problem.

Jacket looks good, pants look fine but could use a tiny hemming. (Your hands are in the pockets and the length isn't too short so it seems ridiculous to me anyone is attempting criticism of the pants unless it's to say they are a tad long.)

Sweater says December, rest of it says spring.

A really lightweight (esp cotton and/or linen) long-sleeve top can work with shorts IMO, but nothing chunky or fuzzy is ever going to come off right.

They look nice to me and they are as formal a shoe as you will ever absolutely need (though Tom Ford patent opera pumps are still out there whenever you start to feel ambitious).

Something's definitely going on with the collar. I didn't notice the size of the thing until you pointed it out but now it does seem on the large side (though not inappropriately so)

Good lord so many grammar edits

need to stretch out the top shirt in length a bit

I wanted to like this fit since it has that sportswear vibe Rick loves so much on display but all I could think of was the above :(
