dunno, i've found slouchier fits tend to benefit from the "camera adds 10 pounds" effect. plus i'm way more tolerant of slouchiness on other people than i am with myself when i look in the mirror. maybe you're the same way? either way, derk fits are sweet. wonder how they'd look IRL

derk, what was the shirt from your last fit? (no the one KoY posted)

this isn't the sort of fit that benefits from an air tie. colors are great though.

Thank you for the feedback Synth and BCD

The pants are Wings & Horns moleskin utility pants. I just got them in yesterday from user Crosswound. They're excellent!

Synth I have a pair of dark brown leather Diemme roccias, do you think they would work better? Otherwise I'll probably just keep wearing the Eastlands cool.gif

Yeah, derk, that one. Absolutely love the color and cut. Thanks.

I think that with the vaguely militaristic look of the W+H pants, something like a combat boot would look much better than a hiking boot or...whatever you're wearing, which are not to my taste.

thanks guys, and thanks everyone else for the thumbs!

caveat-- yeah, the pants are black. it seems to be a received nugget of styling wisdom that black and brown don't go well together, but i quite like black with brown (and black with blue, which also gets a bad rap). i think what's most important is that the tones and textures mix well.

This fit actually makes me contemplate getting Guidi 995's. Hmmm....

thanks! i'm not as big a fan of guidi's overall shape as i am of some other makers', but their non-black footwear can have some amazing leather treatments, e.g., these are nominally "brown," but have hues of olive, orange, and even pink.

Black Military boots are on my "to buy list." I figured the moccasin style boots were excusable for now since the jacket I'm wearing has a hiking feel to it. Thank you for your advice.

I just wanted to point out that we like to think we're not into black clothing. Citing examples of users with colorful clothing including MoK. Now that he posts a fit wearing mostly black stuff, everyone is raving that it is his best.
not true at all. i am not in any denial about my love for dark clothing. i much prefer blacks, greys, and charcoals over colors. different strokes. tbh, if mok wore all black, i don't think it'd look very good. it'd take away from his british heritage workwear whateverthefuckyoucallit charm foo.gif
