I like those marni pants conceptually
SVB unlike some others I don't mind the fit at all, but I think the navy/red/khaki combination might work better with different shoes, or the shoes/shirt/pants would work better without the navy cardigan -- at least based on the way the colours are coming out in the photo you posted.

Marni printed linen pants

Paul Smith leather sandals

Worthless.

colabear will not rest until he has recommended a piece of clothing with a hideous print to every SW&D regular.

Eh...I'd say his shoulder is no more dropped than PG's. Maybe take them in 1/2" at the most, let the chest out about the same, drop the armholes a tad lower, and he'd achieve the platonic ideal of button-front shirt fits. As it stands, I'd still say it's pretty good.

Why would stacking look better than cuffing? I've always thought stacking looked messier.

Sleeve length of that shirt is shot to bits.

Chinos hemmed to that awkward looking height

Set fire to them brown sneakers

Black watch strap + Navy + Brown = no

Dislike the mix of colours

That cardigan + possible bunching of a ill-fitting shirt makes you look like you are 9 months pregnant/have a spare tire.

Just my opinions though

dp92: the only way to get disliked here quicker than being overly defensive of your own fits is being overly critical of others' fits as a new member

just like any community, you need to establish yourself as a member with valuable insights before you start telling people what to do

imagine you get a new coworker, and he decides he's going to tell you that you're doing a shit job and need to make some changes. even if you are doing a shit job, you're still gonna hate the guy. gotta earn people's respect before you start dishing out the criticism

OK, I apologise.

I just know a poor fit when I see one, I guess satisfied.gif

I'll tone it down and keep one criticism bullet-point in the future, until I get more posts

no, i don't think you understood

stop saying smug shit like "i just know a poor fit when i see one" when the only thing you've contributed to this forum is a painfully mediocre button up and chinos fit and a shirtless pic

keep criticism to zero bullet points until you've been around for a bit and made posts that aren't defending your own waywt's or critiquing others

or we will not like you very much at all
