I can assure you Teger, I wouldn't wear a shirt if it was skin-tight and restricting. Also, I tend to stand with a enhanced posture when having a picture taken, I wouldn't move around with my hands in my pockets either.

I workout and therefore want to wear shirts that do not hang off me or look like I have a 6 man tent draped around my torso; you need to look somewhat aesthetic!

the shirt that you posted is slightly too big in the shoulder, tight in the chest, slightly tight in the waist, and probably has too high armholes (which is part of the chest pulling).

look at this guy from vox's blog: http://www.voxsartoria.com/image/47463702461

you can't see a ton, but look at how the shirt fits him very comfortably and loose, yet you can still tell what his 'shape' is.

Thank you for a more in depth analysis. Yes, I see about the shoulder now, in order for a shirt to fit my chest this is what I have to put up with :(. No where near tight around my waist, I assure you, must be the tuck.

Thanks for the criticism

Looking forward to seeing you show me how it's done soon! thumbs-up.gif

i think you'd also benefit from pants with a higher rise.

For casual wear, the rise is fine for my needs. Perhaps the excessive chino roll is throwing your eyes off though.

here's another example, this time from guido's blog:

again, you see a sense of ease and looseness. everything rigid skin tight looks cheap.

I guess it's a matter of opinion; to me I think that shirt looks ill-fitting, not a disaster just looks sloppy.

+Shoulders are too wide, same as mine

so they say. i dont agree either. its said to be a clash of formalities, but with the right white shirt, i think it can be great, as you proved in your fit. thats just my opinion though.
