the studies show that even taking these figures into account its still cheaper

smoking is awesome once you are hooked. the worst part is being a bitch to the cigs. so is my experience.

Hepatitis A, the transient kind, is still the fastest way to quit smoking. It completely obliterates the urge for nicotine (and not just because you're lying there all Prometheus-like, having your liver eaten-out; there's a real, scientific-y reason) -- an effect that lingers after the illness has passed.

EDIT: Looks good, fud. What's the blazer? (And some boots are next?)

"Health care costs for smokers at a given age are as much as 40 percent higher than those for nonsmokers, but in a population in which no one smoked the costs would be 7 percent higher among men and 4 percent higher among women than the costs in the current mixed population of smokers and nonsmokers."

j.crew (made in italy) boots. I like boots because my jeans stack better with the added calf circumference.

I drink more than I should, I smoke on occasion when hammered (maybe a pack a month), I slug coffee like it's mana from the gods, and I occasionally have unprotected sex with women I shouldn't be having unprotected sex with. But what I don't do is act holier than thou about these things to random people who have different tastes than me. That's that shit I don't like.
