thanks, tegs. but its more than ok. wink.gif

as stated, agree about the jeans, but im not buying any in the near future. i would tho extend that to chinos, which is how i like them.

i think the shirt length is good though.

if the colors aren't apparent, dark brown peacoat, navy t-shirt, burgundy sweater, orange scarf, mid-grey wool cargos and medium brown leather boots

Boots - Timberland

colors are bad, boots clash with pants (and are ugly), cardigan is too loose at the waist and too long, and you shouldn't be buttoning the bottom botton, and with a cardigan like that you need a buttondown shirt. peacoat is best piece.

would look better with the pants of the guy behind you

Shirt does look to long. Like a dress shirt not meant to be worn out.

the shirt is too long because it's a dress shirt, and too tight in the waist (because again.. dress shirt). it's not.. bad, but if it was shorter and looser it'd look a lot better. for untucked casual shirts you want them to just skim the top of the pockets, and never cover your entire crotch. i also think they should be loose enough that the placket should meet the entire way down -- a good dress shirt will pull in that situation if its untucked.

this may be a matter of preference, or maybe something i will come to change my mind about, but i dont think the shirt is too long in the pic.

either way, a few things.

1. its not a dress shirt, at least not by my standars. i would never wear it with a dress SC, only a casual cotton SC, but that i would not consider to be a dress fit anyways.

2. i dont like when a shirt placket stays together all the way down when untucked. looks droopy to me, i like a little bit of spread. i think it looks cool, or in SWD terms, "interesting."

3. in relation to the sweater i think the shirt length is good, and the fact that i am kind of crouched causes it too hang a little lower (not that i mind, but you should see that even by your standards, its not as long as you see it to be.)

lastly, i have no idea why im arguing about this with you. in essence, i like the fit, you think the shirt is too long, no biggie. only love.
