Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

So I have been posting over in Mens Classic and haven't really been getting much feedback. So here is my question:

Do you guys think it is possible to wear both SW&D type outfits and Mens Classic outfits? Because I am a huge fan of both styles. Some days I like to dress up with a dress shirt, tie, sweater and blazer. Other days I like to wear a sweat shirt, slim jeans and some sneakers.

Someone over there said it can't work because people will look at them both as costumes. I dislike this answer, because I truly love both types of styles. But he does have a slight point.

What do you think?

lol, the answer is yes. no idea why that was such a long discussion. jk, i know why it was long. b/c this is SF ! yay ! smile.gif

DH = Dior Homme

Edit: And I hate when people use the acronyms for diffusion/collab lines

Raf != Raf by Raf
MMM != HMMM
UC != UU
RO != Drkshdw
DD != Silent by DD

etc.

You are bidding on a sz 38 blazer From Christian Dior Monsieur

I don't know what season this is from, but I can safely assume it was designed by Hedi Slimane.

Best to treat them as a separate entity (or banish the word Christian from your memory). If you've seen the legion of n00bs either buying or trying to sell "Dior" on eBay and the like, you'd understand....

i've actually seen "christian dior" ties in thrift stores quiet a few times, quality is flimsy

i'm relatively well-versed in my dior. not as well as some of the really knowledgeable people here, but enough to not mistake christian dior monsieur for dior homme (though that is really really basic knowledge...). dior menswear was pretty much dead until hedi came along.

I have seen people in Goodwill literally jumping up and down, thanking jeebus for all the money they're going to make on the 'bay. facepalm.gif

Same with Burberry and the word 'Prorsum' on the logo, but at least old Burberry's a little better than CD.

You consider that slim?

I'm 6' 4" and weigh 148. That's slim.

That's Auschwitz skinny, not slim.

That's not slim that's damn skinny

Clearly no one on SF has met an AG competitive cyclist or runner

post #88484 of 117666
That RO is too long in the sleeves. Whether RO designed it that way or not shouldn't really matter.

Sinnedk's fit looks alright, some cool clothes there

That's one reason why I wouldn't buy RO leathers. Hate too long sleeves and my arms aren't even short.
