Nice. For some reason reminds me of Virgil Sollozzo from the first godfather movie

(Can't find a better picture with his hat on)

I plan to get those postmans teger suggested. I think they will look great here. As for glasses, I know people do not like these ones but I really do still so until I change my mind I will hold on to them

Here is the sweater version. Too cold outside! (let me know which version is better - i am partial to the sweater sans hat though)

I actually like the shirt better. I think the top half looks really good. Just need a better ground game with nicer shoes and a cleaner break in your pants.

Yeah. I haven't hemmed them because there is detailing at the bottom that would pretty much have to be lopped off. But I guess I have to frown.gif

I think I should just get the koppidge slim trousers

bow tie fail

I just like the tw fit bc it's fresh, could have been executed better but I appreciate seeing something good different than the usual.

TWorksheets:

Nice outfit but this is what I would change:

Scarf - maroon / burgundy. Preferably EG red/gray stripe button shawl
Jacket - I just wish this was longer (pointless comment)
Jeans - check
Shoes - white canvas shoes or some white boots

You should attempt the recent lookbook of InAisce F/W '13: White jumper / gray coat / black jeans / white boots. It's actually warming up here now but if it is cold at your place, perhaps even the white hat / beanie. Sounds generic but if you saw the inAisce look, it works very well.

i'm not a fan of the whole ivy prep thing and imo bowties generally look stupid unless worn with a tux.

is that a clip on bowtie?

So tired of "prep". Pastels and bow ties can kindly piss off for a while.

What's that? It's almost spring? Dammit.

Yeah I get that casually worn bow-ties are a love it or hate it thing, with no room in between. It's not something I do often, but I enjoy mixing things up.

I actually went to a lame-ass prep school where I had to wear a necktie of some sort every day, and the whole ivy/prep/trad thing has kinda just stuck to an extent. Add to that the fact that I probably see more drape-y motherfuckers during the day than I do preptards and I don't mind pulling the high-school nostalgia look out every now and then.

What's strange is I HATED that whole prep-look stuff in HS, but now that I'm out I quite like it. *shrugs*

And no, hand-tied.

Looks really good to me bene, i wouldn't be in a rush to hem the pants.
ya i cant bring myself to. I think ill just eventually pick up a normal well made pair.

Btw what sort of mix would i want if i want some stretch to the pants but also want them to be thick/warm? Wool+Pa?
any wool or cashmere blend with elastane should give you some stretch without losing warmth.
