Speaking of proportions, wmmk, I like your new fits. Has your choice of pieces changed much, or has the improvement mainly been due to crew and its effects on your proportions?
Thanks. Those two jackets happen to be the only new pieces I've bought in a few months, but I haven't changed much else. The bomber has more structure than the jackets I usually wear, but I suppose that crew has helped more than anything else. Having bigger quads and lower back muscles, wider lats and shoulders, and less bodyfat definitely cuts down on the appearance of child bearing hips. But more than anything, it's a lot easier to not give a fuck about what you look like when you're training for a team sport rather than purely for the sake of aesthetics. I strongly recommend hopping on an erg or joining a crew to anyone here who is vaguely pear-shaped and self-conscious about it.

Yeah I loved it except when we capsized into the filthy river during first week of training
cez, looks good man, though the boots seem a bit sloppy. adam, I don't like that polo, but then again, I've never been a fan of polos in general. Nice fit on the jeans though.
