In case you were wondering, I have no idea how to make a .gif

jeans are now too tight and too short, thanks to my tiny, hyperactive dryer.

I thought the newcomers fit looked great, but why is it that like 90% of the approved fits in this thread are three tone monochrome grey/white/black? Sure, that aesthetic works, but it works better for 1) people in highly urban environments, where there is a lot of grey and black to match as background, 2) where there's a lot of cloud cover, so that the austerity of the fit doesn't clash with the "mood" of the day. I mean, sure we have a few stragglers like that guy in England who consistently posts fits with lots of tweed, Barbour, English heritage looking items, but mostly it's "all black everything" here. Is color somehow not timeless? Is wearing some bright gingham/madras/poplin in spring somehow gauche? I don't get it. This thread is just as "uniform"-y as an equivalent thread over at Reddit MFA, but it's not acknowledged here. Even if that aesthetic was the most appealing to me, it's pretty scary for me also to appreciate how expensive that monochromacity is to build. (I totally don't understand the cost structure of that sort of fashion.)

You sound like you're in England wink.gif

They're not too short, they're just at more of an MC level now. It's not like we can see your socks. I mean, yes, they are too short, but they're not unwearably short. Boots look great.

It's OK. They're too short. I will deal with it and move on to a new pair with a 34" inseam (36$ at a store near you!)

Jacket is n(n) too, right? I think I would like it without the hat.
Yeah the hat is iffy for me too. I bought it to decorate my room really but I figured i'd give it a try in a fit.

Jacket is N(N) FW 04

looks good Moo

It's an aesthetic trend, and one that is freely acknowledged. Someone like you points this out at least once a month like it's a huge fucking revelation. You're not that clever.

4 of the last 5 fits are not b/w

People who say that everyone here dresses is all black very clearly do not even pay attention to this thread. Someone like synth, who, dare I say, is one of the "poster children" of swd rarely wears all black.
