not surprised you dont love the half. im glad you are consistent.

i do need a good pair of boots. they are on a long list of things i need to buy. do you have a specific brand/model of boot you would recommend that would work for my general style? as in, im not looking for boots that would require me to buy a whole slew new clothing, rather boots that will work with the clothing i like and wear.

Re: Synth's fit: What makes this great (besides the wall) is the lived-in quality of the items. This and Synth's comfort level are what Moo was suggesting for Stich; easier said than done of course.

Easier said than done? Just don't stand like you have a stick up your ass, it ain't difficult.

Tricker's are the go to recommendation, and will work with CM/MC, or if you want a slightly sleaker last these Barker's are pretty decent:

I was about to wear *suggest* (wtf?) tricker's as well. I think they'd look perfect there. Re: cardigan, how about a maroon/burgundy?

i have to learn the SWD slouch pose i suppose. also, the slouchier i stand, the worse my midsection looks.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I don't think the fit is really so special, but it is exactly what I wear 90% of the time. The things that you can't see are, of course, the things that Fairbanks is getting at; the things that make it good in the first place: the holes/loose stitching on the jeans, the roll neck on the thick wool sweater, the missing buttons and scuffs on the jacket. I probably should have taken some closeups, but I think I was being tailed by a security guard or something (was taking some pictures at a church). Weird.

Art, I have looked at your Guidi sales thread probably a dozen times. Dream boots. Are those the same style of Zam B you sold me?

^pants are z-1's, more straightforward jeans cut (5 pockets, straight legs) in a ridged cotton. never gonna get sick of that coat!

Not sure how I feel about that cardi. I don't think it looks bad..but it just seems a little "off".
