Stitch, not a fan of the oatmeal half-thing. Too Mr. Rogers with the grey trousers. I also think the jacket deserves a pair of boots. Vis. MOK
not surprised you dont love the half. im glad you are consistent.
i do need a good pair of boots. they are on a long list of things i need to buy. do you have a specific brand/model of boot you would recommend that would work for my general style? as in, im not looking for boots that would require me to buy a whole slew new clothing, rather boots that will work with the clothing i like and wear.
thanks!

I like the sweater, but agree with Synth in that it doesn't work with those trousers - would be fine with dark denim, or even chinos.
Re: Synth's fit: What makes this great (besides the wall) is the lived-in quality of the items. This and Synth's comfort level are what Moo was suggesting for Stich; easier said than done of course.

Tricker's are the go to recommendation, and will work with CM/MC, or if you want a slightly sleaker last these Barker's are pretty decent:
I was about to wear *suggest* (wtf?) tricker's as well. I think they'd look perfect there. Re: cardigan, how about a maroon/burgundy? Edited by Synthese - 2/22/13 at 1:06pm

i have to learn the SWD slouch pose i suppose. also, the slouchier i stand, the worse my midsection looks.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I don't think the fit is really so special, but it is exactly what I wear 90% of the time. The things that you can't see are, of course, the things that Fairbanks is getting at; the things that make it good in the first place: the holes/loose stitching on the jeans, the roll neck on the thick wool sweater, the missing buttons and scuffs on the jacket. I probably should have taken some closeups, but I think I was being tailed by a security guard or something (was taking some pictures at a church). Weird.
The last time I posted a fit, I got about all of one feedback.
Scrolling back the past 100 pages or so, it generally seems new people dont get any feedback or just one, two insipid ones while everyone comments on established members
