You should really start shopping at Epaulet and asking for advice in the affiliate thread. If I wanted a clean bizcas style I'd probably just buy all my clothes from them.

That's actually something i've also thought and have begun recently reading the significant amount of information available in that thread. 

 

I think initially I am looking to replace my slim chino's with some straighter leg trousers which should help with the business casual looks for work. 

 

Weekend/casual day's I need to loosen up a little. I can see how sometimes my fits can come across quite stiff.

Well, my Ann's have a high shaft and don't feel very summery to me.
I like the cordovan (?) there, the sheen makes the whole fit IMO

That's stupid just writing off a whole genre of shirting, some checkered shirts look great, but they're just quite boring and they're the ONLY shirts he wears, which is the problem, he needs to get something different and more interesting in his wardrobe because all his pieces just look... average.

Maybe this has been mentioned before, but I feel like elisiX needs to look to SVB for some inspiration

I have no doubt there are nice ones, but meant that they're in general not very clean, and as you said often boring 

elisix - you would do a lot better by seeking advice on the MC side of the forum. You mention things like "proper trousers", "taking up shirtsleeves", "cleaner look", etc. SWD isn't really about that. Why not try to emulate some of the better MC "bizcas" (what a shitty term) guys like Doc Holiday, NOBD, and NYR (there are others, I'm sure). With a pair of better dress shoes and a less gaudy shirts I think you're much closer to MC than SWD. Right now you're in some bizarre expensive-clothing-without-a-purpose vortex.

They're basically the only shoes I wear and I'm dreading the day they start to fall apart.
