I know it's not quite apples & apples, but look how your pants fit v.s. istasi's above, they're still slim but not cling wrap level.
I do see your point, and I know they're super slim. I feel like I know enough about the rules to break them sometimes. I'm very much going for the old April 77 look, which is basically the same proportions I'm dressing to.
Shryke, for what you appear to be going for (ringo starr via APril77xhedi?), it looks spot on - but goddamn I would not want to wear that; just not a look I love. Not sure what I can add, but maybe try a shirt with more contrast?
@shryke, I like it man its got a cool skinny rocker vibe that I cant pull off but wish I could
@in stiches, I like that suit so no worries. More importantly the ladies liked it . Some suggestions ill implement, definitely the stuff about cuff tightness, looks weird having th watch poke block one cuff. Glad I took the photo. Might adjust the hem too.
people are freaking out a little too much about bene's suit. here's some perspective:
Unbuttoning the bottom button should help with the pulling. Don't worry about a touch of pulling if the shoulders are spot on if you're going for a slim look. It happens. Tom Ford says to keep your jackets unbuttoned, anyway, as it'll give you a better look. The only time I have them buttoned is when I walk into a meeting, and then I sit and loosen it or even if standing and presenting, it's definitely unbuttoned
Pants need to be tapered, but all suit pants need to be tapered unless you're hanging out on the MC section
Color is fine, although I could see you rocking navy like crazy though
shryke- not a good look. Your legs look really skinny (weak) and those pants really emphasize it. A little exercise would do you a lot of good.
bene- for the love of god get rid of those glasses. You look a million times better without them. Also, forget what girls say about your clothes at a formal gathering (and most other places.) They are just making small talk and it may or may not mean they actually like your clothes.
