No offense to the countless guys rocking that haircut but I think the Boardwalk Empire cut doesn't look that great on most people

I like the short sides/long top because my head is round so this helps it look a bit longer and more slender. It's the best cut me for I've tried so far. People must rennet how terrible my hair used to be.

Those photos are 10x better than the photos most people post here, if you're going to complain at anyone don't complain at him! shog[1].gif

SF won't let me do thumbs right now for some reason, but some real nice fits on the last page.

@mikey, it's my understanding that EG always fits all kinds of short and boxy. AFL (I think it's AFL) has an EG jacket that fits him great, but the sleeves are noticeably too short (FWIW, he pulls it off well anyway, but IDK if it would work in all contexts). I've seen some great EG fits, I'm just not sure it would work for me.

true but the fits and brands are usually poor too. TOGs glorious brands deserve a full body shot.

For clipper numbers, I'd just do 2 at maximum to start with. Shorter than that is intense. Not for everyone. Myself, I do 3, actually, but I do it myself every week or two.

A pretty cheap haircut is usually going to end up looking pretty cheap. These types of barbers may know how to cut hair, but I find they just don't know how to cut it well. Also, I think you may want to find a barber shop, one that has mostly youngish barbers. Not one of those nondescript hair cutters you might find in a strip mall. One that caters to a young adult clientèle, where it's clear that they have a love for the profession. I feel like these types of places are more receptive to their clients, as opposed to some places that are afraid to get a bit adventurous with the hair clippers.

Or, if you're desperate, you could always buy a hair clippers and do it yourself...

Maybe I'll bring a picture of macklemore or bows next time. What are people with that kind of style getting on the sides? 1 or 0? My hair also grows crazy fast which doesn't help.
