The WAYWT Discussion Thread - Page 5679

It's far more irritating to wade through a snobbish discussion about how filthy it is to wear shoes indoors than it is to scroll past benign comments about breeds of cats and how much they shed. Hell, that discussion never even once ventured into the stupid dogs vs. cats debate. Which is pretty impressive given how childish a lot of the users on this message board are.

Walking around someone else's house with no shoes on is a great way to get random bits of food and other debris stuck to your socks, which you will then insert into your boots when put them back on to leave. Foul.

If you get indoor slippers or shoes it seems fine, but that is not how it is done typically in the US except where there is an Asian connection. Here it is usually just: "Welcome to my home, now take off your shoes and step on my kid's cheerios which are all over the floor!"

Got the length of these shortened so I don't need to roll them. Wearing them at true waist. Contemplating having them done up a little higher, thoughts? Also, got some new boots, improvement?

Thanks! edit: ironed out the crease, a lot better imo

This is the before below:

Same. Dislike

The pants were great before the hem :/
the cuff there is the original cuffing, it never was visible because i rolled it

*sigh*
I had to have it hemmed though, would not keep the roll and was just far too long eve at true waist. Maybe if i have them adjust the thickness of the hem? its not fully stitched just front and back. Feel free to PM me suggestions. Don't want to derail the entire thread for my behalf.

I think just removing the crease will fix the shape though. rolling it sorta negated a lot of the crease, without it it falls as it does.

waaaaayyyyyyy better before

the cuff and press killed them

Thanks guys. Ill try removing the creese and figure out what to do about the cuff. I think that getting rid of the crease will probably fix it by itself (might also look better wit a more slender cuff). Hopefully that will fix it.

Crease is out. Not sure what I should do exactly about the cuff (have it removed completely or just make it narrower)
