Yeah, we don't wear shoes in our homes in Canada. Also, usually when visiting someone. I can't remember the last time I wore shoes indoors at someones house.

Nobody wears shoes inside in Finland. I think we took our shoes of for school for the first 6 years.

I live in Toronto and I hate taking my shoes off, regardless if it's in someone's home. I get if they're dirty, mess or with snow, but in general...no thanks. My fiancé and I both wear ours.

The removing shoes idea isn't unknown in the UK but is generally seen as a pretentious middle class thing.

What the fuck? How the hell are any of you psychopaths ever going to survive with a dog, let alone a child? Or even with your own inescapable filthiness?

I guess, at heart, I am trailer trash.

Doesn´t it bother you  (those who make people take off their shoes) that they´re walking around in (maybe) smelly socks?? I understand it if it were muddy or raining outside, ´cause no one wants their floor getting dirty. I wouldn´t mind doing it in japan (where it´s tradition) and specially if they give you indoor shoes (slippers or whatever), but walkin around in socks (or barefeet)  in other people´s houses??? ffffuuuu.gif
