Also, cats are irritating. They're kind of cute, but I swear, I don't know how you guys wear anything nice around them. My girlfriend's cat is constantly hopping into my lap and clawing at my shirt/sweater/sweatshirt/bareskin/justkiddingaoutthatlastone. Plus, the constant need to have a lint roller nearby because of the cat hair. Ugh.

I think it was Blanc and Noir that had some really awesome solid color flannel shirts.

*I have no problem with the flannel and greatly miss my black and blue buffalo check flannel.

I really like flannels. First of all, I'm sort of a westerner at heart, and I enjoy the country/grunge thing quite a bit. They're sort of halfway between shirt and sweater, and I usually wear them with a tee under, so they're a nice weight for me. All of mine are cheap, crappy ones (that one has recently been shrunk by my overzealous washer/dryer), but I wouldn't hesitate to buy a few nicer ones if I thought I could spare the cash.

I have one of these.  I've worn it twice and it's lost 3 buttons. You can do the math but that's not a good buttons lost to wear ratio.

I really want an RRL flannel or two but I seem to be between sizes :( M pulls in the chest and the L in my sig was a size too big. I wore nothing but flannel + denim my last two years of college.

Good to know. When you get around to washing it let me know how it holds up. Button can be reinforced. Idc if designers skimp on that part as long as fabric and seems are well done.
