I appreciate that. I'm a work in progress. many years of being surrounded by bad dressed people who thought I was best dressed just poisoned my perception of what looked good
Vest is ok, at least you're wearing it with a b/u shirt, but I fear vest will look big once the shirt is tucked (they should be fitted but you dont want to look like a sausage). Problem is you need to tuck the shirt and if it billows around the waist go pay 15 bux or whatever and get it taken in on the sides or darted so it'll look appropriate. Jeans are not great but the cut is decent. If you're going for that aesthetic get some shawl collar cardigans and such, look into more affordable stuff like our legacy. There is an affordable swag thread that I'm sure can point you in the direction you seek. I'd recommend some basic shirts like oxfords that are always good to wear with a multitude of stuff and look good (ie uniqlo), baracutta jackets perhaps, wool car coats or some variant of a pea coat as well for outerwear.
hmmm the image is broken for some reason, ill try upload another one. Maybe a different one in light of the mr bean comment, ha. Edited by Guy Burgess - 1/25/13 at 5:19am
Swing sunglasses (no idea about this brand but they're made in Italy if anyone has any info)
Harnden
Harnden
no brand (navy blue, not sure if the picture shows it)
Charles Tyrwhitt
Do not much like the fit of that Harnden blazer- might be the angle, but it looks a bit poofy in a bad way
