You´re so wrong. They´re awesome and they feel amazing. After putting them on for the first time, I understood why Devoa made this video. You can stretch them all you want, do all sorts of kicks, etc, because the fabric is very allowing/permissive.

I can see the difference between size of thighs and calves the pants give, but I don´t think it looks bad and, again, they´re really cool. One Last thing: the 8 pockets are the best. You can pretty much stuff anything you want in there. It would make them look even bulkier, though hahaha, but it´s helpful when you´re carrying lots of things and you´re not wearing a jacket.

 

Think the issue is that you're no where near as skinny as this guy.  Maybe do more yoga...

i just think lbiker is wearing them with all the wrong pieces. especially the colours, man oh jeez

the footwear is hard to get right on pants like that...

the t-shirt just looks really not good. i think you should just wear with a looser tank top (you're fit, right?) and cool sandals - it's summer, right? those are SS pants, innit?

Well, no, I´m average in height and weight (for my country at least). 1,76/77 m. and 74/75 kgs. Which I guess is close to 5´10¨ and  163 lbs.

 

Do you think those type of pants are best for the super skinny? It might not look from that, but my thighs are not big at all. Guess I should actually make my calves bigger to go with the pants.

Thought rosewater was me for a second. Is that a uniqlo heattech scarf as well? 

 

Yes, the color of the tee is not good for that fit. I know it stands out too much. With the jacket I believe it works, because it´s got a more subtle shade.

 

Regarding the footwear: I looked for fits of the pants online and came across with nothing but black boots on most of them. I put on this pair of Levi´s and they looked alright.  My sneakers are kinda sporty to go with them, so  I have just those boots and my leather sandals, which despite not being the best to pair with, go better than anything else. Right now I don´t really feel like dropping major bills on new footwear just to match the pants, so  I´ll have to make them work with what I´ve got.

 

If they are in fact SS pants, they don´t feel like it. I walked around a lot during my trip to BA and they felt rather heavy if it got hot. Again, something caused probably by  the accumulation of fabric from the pockets.

i dont see the problem re thighs imo. i just think they stack funny with the boots and clashes with the top. dunno what people are seeing - they are dope pants, yo. just not easy to pull off - you prob need a more comprehensive set of stuff when you cop something as weird as pants like those...

They´re a tad long. You can see it in the video, how they reach under the guy´s feet. Only with the sandals I get less stacking.

My wardrobe is obviously still in progress, and I´m venturing into brands that have a different aesthetic to what I´m used to (fitted tees and jeans). Devoa, sruli recht, BBS, Zam Barrett, Individual Sentiments, LUC, LeU, Song for the Mute, Julius, The viridi-anne,  etc. I currently just have items from the first two, but I´m looking into acquiring some BBS soon and, with time, items from most of those brands, because they make or are connected to a style which I´ve like for quite a while, which is Post-Apocalyptic clothing.

I´m not saying all those brands aim to that, but some do, and the others still have some elements I think I could use to achieve what I´m going for.

Maybe some running sandals would look and mesh better with the environment ie south america.

Re: big thighs / wrong pants

To me, the taper def isn't the problem. Remember Charly's post on the optimal silhuette for built guys? You want a good taper on your pants if you've got bigger thighs. A straight fit will make your legs look like tree-trunks and will make the bottom overpowering.

If anything, the rise is too low on those pants and the tee is too short. I've got a decent drop with a 42 chest, 32 waist and 34 hips, and I def look more balanced in terms of proportions when the tee goes over half of the bum and wear the pants low / longer rise. The problem with LB's pants is that they sort of carve in at the crotch due to the lower rise. You will get a better shape a la Snowman with pants with higher rise. A boot tuck can also help. Look at Charly and Snowman fits.

Also, wear darker pants as it has a slimming effect.

Even on skinny Japanese models the Devoa pants look weird.

Dammit I hate seeing this uniqlo jacket pop up, makes me wish purchased it.
