It's not too bad either way. Chest is comparatively tighter than the rest of the body, so I notice the chest to be a bit tight when I layer. The knit compresses pretty easily so it doesn't make a massive difference.

Haha this is my go-to still (more out of necessity). It really gets me through the mild winters. Weight surprisingly holds up and the fit is nice. As for construction, I might not be the best judge, but I haven't noticed too much wear. I wish the zipper were a bit more substantial and I wish the collar popped more easily while open or w/ a scarf, but I can't complain. I wasn't huge on the boiled wool at 1st, but it's grown on me.

I actually ended up Tshirt tucking and it's awesome but you'll have to trust me.

think hendrix should roll up the sleeves of jacket satisfied.gif

Hendrix, not sure how I feel about the color of the pants but a hem and taper would largely make it more pimp though I like it right now overall (with no tuck too). Jacket is great.

Indeed. I think Teger would kill me though. He's already having an aneurysm about the trouser length.

Yup, this is what I thought would be coming. I'm trying to do that Margiela look minus the actual Margiela and I agree I'm not quite hitting it here. It needs to be at the point where the hem is not noticeable and just looks casual. Sneakers would make it easier but i'm going high risk high rewards. No biggie if it's not perfect.

trying on a suit and MA-1 post run:

I'd say very close, don't hem too much leave about an inch of extra inseam but tapered would be very nice. What are the shoes look like peal suede wingtips? Would be better too if non-wingtip but whatevs.

Urban Outfitters now sells accessory dogs for hunting fits.

jacket shoulders would benefit from a more natural look for the overall loungey vibe, imo

disagree, but I can see where you're coming from.
Hendrix if you are going for Margiela you probably wont even have to hem, only taper about half an inch (look at the pants in jets avatar as an example)

Linen on linen is pretty tough to pull off without evoking the whole dentist-at -club-med look.
I think this would look better with either the coat or pants being cotton.
Unless you want to to a full linen suit which can be pretty pimp.

Coat seems like a weird combo of wide lapels, built shoulders, full arms and nipped waist. Needs to decide which way to go.
