snows fit is awesome! Wish you would have posted more angles. I feel fits like this should be acknowledged more for the thoughtful combination of different pieces - including the bespoke document holder- as opposed to for example Regis margiela-only fit which was thumbed into heaven.

I don t really understand the critic for shahs pants. They are supposed to fit like that ?
Different shoes and shirt, yes, but the pants are fine.

But I didn't expect that MMM boots retailing close to/north of $1k have glued soles... that's Kenneth Cole/Cole Haan territory.

The discrepancy between cost and actual "quality" talking point is covered seemingly every time MMM side-zips are discussed. I'm not sure anyone, even those who own at least one pair, have ever contested that the MSRP is pretty obscene for what you get in terms of construction.

Yup. Most people also understand that they're a massive ripoff.

Also, as you already know, JLP, EG, and pretty much all English shoes are technically glued as well. Alot of them retail north of $1K.

Real simple, so you can't go wrong... But how are you going to wear all those basic brands, then throw some Lanvin on the feet? Your sneakers cost more than the entire outfit.

ronnel, do you only base the quality of an outfit by its price-tag?*

not that it isn't a bland outfit, but still

Not contesting or arguing - just surprised. Learn something new every day.

Good to know re: MMM.

I know you mean feathering, but I am talking about the difference between a sole that can and cannot be replaced when worn through.

I don't care about the price tag. I am just saying, I feel like if you're wearing specific items/brands in specific price brackets to stay within them. I may not make sense to you and others, but it's just my opinion.

Like why would you wear H&M pants, H&M shirts, but have on a Hermes belt and maybe some YSL/Margiela sneakers? Who does that? Or wear basic Levi's with an LV belt and a H&M t-shirt, but have on some Pierre Hardy sneakers?

Why do you reply to everything I say? Are you infatuated with me?

If it looks good together, who cares about brand synergy?
