I dunno, wool gabardine (i think?) + a turtleneck seems pretty formal to me. I think fabrics speak louder than cuts/styles if that makes sense
I'd agree but I really don't think this is wool gabardine, this looks less formal to me and I think the jeans work well in this context. With that said, would still like to see it with a pair of semi-relaxed wool pants.
Size TTS, I picked up a 38 and has enough room for layering a shirt or light knit. I think you can alter this but a size up would be too big.. It is unstructured and the wool lends itself to stretching. Not sure what type of wool but feels nice. Soft but with a hint of texture in the hand that scratches a bit. Nowhere near lambswool like, but I would not say it is entirely smooth as well. The lining and the lapel wool is also different. Lapel and 1/4 the lining where the buttons are is also like shearling.
