When I started I didn't give a shit about style/fashion, I came to SF to try and find a place to buy APC's. A friend bought a pair, and I figured I'd be able to afford some myself. I found out they were 100+ and balked. I stuck around hoping to find cheaper alternatives, and slowly but surely saw stuff I'd never see IRL (high fashion, goth ninja,workwear,skin/mod,etc). Eventually caught wind of 'workwear' which was essentially not very different than what my friends and I were into at the time (westerns, levis, cool boots) and whatever we could find at the thrift store.

I care about style more now than I did then, and have less disposable income. I thrifted pretty much every single day then, and only once or twice now.

I guess I care more, and maybe thats my problem.
