But I also think you're riding the pants too low,. There's a massive gap between the buttoning point of the jacket and where your pants are sitting, it's not very flattering. Camera angle is also exaggerating the effect.

good points, thanks. i think i kept pushing the pants down, cuz i felt they were too short.

they are just under 9 inches. pretty good for me. 8 is as low as i can go, and i usually find that too close. i guess that is a MC/SWD diference, like you said.

Stanley, do you approve of today's dinner? This is called Bamia plethenoyemista (literally "overstuffed okra")...meaning the beef-based stuffing and okra are cooked side-by-side, rather than stuffed into the okra...

I know this is a bit too Third world for civilised people like you, but I thought I'd share because if you recall, your social rival in the Epaulet thread NewYorkRanger was boasting about how he had relished some "stuffed okra" at some Lebanese hole-in-the-wall in Brooklyn....well now, you can tell him that your boys in WAYWT can make it fresh-to-order for you, Greek-style (which is always better than Levantine style), and have it flown to you in LA in a matter of hours if you so desire, so you can tell him to take his okra and stuf...

Edit: My photography sucks. frown.gif

I guess my criticism was a bit snarky, so I can't knock your snarky response. However, let me elaborate:

The suit and pants are both full cut and there's a somewhat rectangular continuity between the pieces that gives off a sort of blocky impression. Basically, your fit has form to it, really.

Also, I suppose it's personal preference, but I hate top stitching on shoes like that. Combined with the squared, elongated toe, it gives off a sort of "old man casual vibe"

These are just my impressions, and I venture over to the MC side very rarely, so my opinion could be entirely void, but whatever

EDIT: fwiw, fabrics are all nice and that's a damn cool watch.

I'm gonna chalk this whole fracas to the come-down from a mad weekend binge of sale purchasing. Y'all need to chill out a little. And, I'll let you in on a little secret... 90% of being a cool Dad involves trolling not only your own children, but all of their friends, too.

interesting that that was your impression, as both the SC and pants are not only not full cut, but very slim fitting/fitted, for me. could be the pic, lighting, angle, a SWD/MC perspective, idrk.

as to the shoes, dont worry, lots of people here dont like them. but i do. horses for courses on that. no worries. no ones opinion is void. well, almost no one.

glad you liked the fabric and the watch though. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
