Some people have asked for non-stock pics of the Loake jodhpurs for color. Best quick natural light pic I could manage since the weather's been bad.

ToJ/W+H/W+H/Loake

no vis: vintage Dunhill, vintage Omega

And does it matter if the version i found are sunglasses technically?

It does not matter that they are sunglasses per se, what matters is if the frames at the lens edge are deep/wide enough to accommodate your Rx lens. Many sunglasses can be fitted w/ Rx lenses w/ no issues, but some are not able to--this depends on both the frame, and your Rx since some scripts require more lens/correction than others.

My script is really weak. The contacts I use are -.5 and -.75
The fit is only an issue if its too thick I assume?

Suit + turtleneck combo is so good. Ambivalent on the shades. I guess they'e pretty cool in a sleazy European futurist kind of way.

As you said yourself, the DBs definitely lack the sharp mod-ness of everything else. I'm thinking black chelseas/ jodhpurs would do the trick.

And I love that you're wearing this get-up while appearing to emerge from a forest. It's as if you were on location for a Hugo Boss lookbook shoot, and the camera crew left abruptly, leaving you to navigate your way home by foot. Hope your phone comes with Google Maps!

edit: fuck it, I like the shades

quoting for awesomeness. Love the colors of everything, the shades fit your complexion and hair perfectly. 1980 or 2013, fit is sick.

I think #3 from the top is best and the last ones in the full body shot are a close second. 2nd pair is decent and the first are just too much for me, almost a comical look.

"no idea what that means, pm me a pic?"

Was more of a joke Ben, I'm wearing a pair of vintage Giorgio Armani glasses in this fit, a friend of mine had them laying around and deemed them impossible to pull off in this day and age... yeah I showed him. now they are mine and I stride around with them in public.

haha well now im ebarassed shog[1].gif

Anyway. that suit is pretty sick! The glasses are intense but a good intense. Maybe its the cut of the suit but it has a modern inspired-by-80s vibe rather than just stuck in the 80s.

Wait, how is everyone quoting thumbs comments without taking screenshots? I'm so behind.

Try marking and copying and pasting...

Your comment made me peek over the "wall" for a bit. Thankfully the reactions were pretty mild, but this was great:

While all of its pieces look fine, they don't work together or only very boringly so.
Also the burgundy + navy clashes with the bright yellow of the shades.
Maybe change the shade for a PS with some other color, patern and texture to it?

OMG an MC fit that doesn't have an orgy of patterns!? What do I do? Time to take out my sharpie and draw little flowers on my computer screen. There, that will fix it.

Are more minimal/mod looks that hard to get?
