The first picture looks awesome though, and then it just gets worse

Edit: just to expand on my point and not aimlessly bash you, in the untucked version there is this smooth, unbroken line from the tapered, slim jeans down to the toe of the sleek sidezips, which IMO is the appeal of that type of boot. When you roll/tuck it looks a lot sloppier and 'chunkier', for want of a better word, and it breaks the line. It works with less elegant boots, but with sidezips it just doesn't look great, in my opinion.

I think I might agree if

A. My legs weren't so skinny so there wasn't such a "jump" where the boots start

and/or

B. I hemmed them so the unrolled one was a smoother transition, shaped more like the rolled one

your perception is warped. untucked and unrolled looks best

melon. srsly all fits ruined by that awful boot tuck imho

Yea, side zips should never really be tucked unless they're chunky a la AnnD or something

Really like that first shot. In the last shot, I know it's cold outside, but I feel like your accessories are pulling you in too many different directions.

Oh well, at least the G man himself knows where I'm coming from with my tucks and rolls

I wouldn't do it if I had these instead

I haven't seen the geller aesthetic embrace a boot tuck teacha.gif
Try some chunkier boots because right now the transition is too smooth and looks like flat feet/duck feet

This I guess looks alright if it pleases you but I still think it looks too mundane to wear with a red zipper trench

I'm okay with this too but you'd probably feel the same as you do about the tuck
Also, hereby nominate fireflygrave for best "new" poster.
...And NewYorkRanger for most stylish grandma.

I agree with what everyone else is saying, it looks way better without the tuck. Jeans aren't good for tucking in general, and neither are the vast majority of side/back-zips. Even in those runway pics it doesn't look good. It kind of reminds me of those girls on campus that tuck their juicy sweatpants into uggs.

Also, fireflygrave isn't exactly new.
