Navy COS wool/cashmere short hooded coat
Burgundy SNS stark
White tee (no vis)
Vintage 70's Omega seamaster (no vis)
Grey COS wool melange trousers
Dark olive Uniqlo socks
Tan CP leather chukkas
Light olive Eastpak suede backpack

I'm really torn about this. I like all the pieces individually, but there just seems to be something off proportionally on the top half here - the short is so short compared to the stark that it looks almost like a really thin button down.

Only like 45 megs a file haha

the suit looks nice in the dark picture, but in the other pictures it really doesn't
off the bat:
- the whole jacket is both too long and roomy, same for the sleeves
- pants should either be slightly shorter and slimmer for that GQ-look, or a bit longer so it breaks atleast a little
- can't see much of the shoes, but if they're loafer it really doesn't work with the rest of the fit, and more so without socks

but this definitely belongs in MC, just look through the latest 5 pages here and see for yourself wink.gif

first, it's fine that he posted it here. second, the suit is too big - shoulders too big, sleeves too long, jacket too long. your shirt collar is also too big. makes you look like a kid in dad's suit.

^^ also to this guy, loafers are fine, the pants are fine, why would he want break if he's going for a "GQ look" (what does that even mean? pin the shit out of your banana republic monogram suit that your magazine is trying to market?)

Are those cropped pants with loafers? ffffuuuu.gif

edit--- bah, everyone beat me to it. Here goes anyway:

Dr Chili, I have a feeling your jacket would look better in the next size down. Neck, sleeves, shoulders, and length are all too large for your frame.

Also, if you're going for the cropped trousers look, you'd benefit from tapering them a bit so the cropping looks intentional rather than "my pants are too short."

You're on a good path though-- S+H cuts a pretty solid erryday sort of suit.

Cropped pants that are very slim and well tapered + loafers = OK if that is what you're going for.

Cropped pants that are too wide at the bottom, and appear to be too loose in general, but not loose enough for the Yohji aesthetic + loafers = doesn't look so great.

Agreed, looks confused and unattractively disproportionate

Teger, how is the Roberto Collina? (and also what is sizing like)

I got the pocket crewneck. It's interesting. The fabric is almost felted, no ribbing at cuffs/waist, surprisingly warm. I think it's intended to be worn as a shirt, but it's too short for me to do that. Fits true to size. I'm happy with it.

Thanks. I want to be part of your no money club but I'm cold all the time.

I want to pick up a v-neck too but will hold off.
