is that a jacket on top of a jacket?

anyways, that is really far out of my aesthetic, and i cant imagine wearing that, but man, you do a hell of a job with that look.

keep on rockin.

also, i request you grow back out the moustache.

Sookie - its nice, but why you look so angry?

Oh man, maybe SW&D is passing me by. I think bows looks was too constricted (plus this short jacket over long knit/coat thing usually looks askew to me) and AR's knit is pretty nice, albeit probably a size too tiny, until you get to the bizarre neck detailing. Is there any product in your hair, AR? It looks kinda dull and lifeless in such close proximity to a fashion forward knit like that.

Jacket/tie plus jeans is incongruous 99/100 times. This isn't the 1 time it works.

Further - the shirt and jacket sleeves are - again - 1/2" too short, maybe a full 1" for the jacket. The jacket's quarters don't look right, either. The jeans do need a taper for your style specifically (very lean and long), but don't cuff them until they are tapered. Finally, the tie doesn't work here at all, even if the rest of the elements somehow fell in place.

Something is off about that fit svb. I think its the jeans. But if they are tapered i think the jacket will start to look out if place. Not bad just not what i expect or of an svb fit. Your fault for the high standards smile.gif

Do not like. Do not like buttoning point, do not like jeans, do not like cuff, do not particularly like shoes, do not like all of them together. Enjoying the glasses and the smile. Carry on.

yea that SVB fit is bad all over frown.gif

bows I dunno.. it just looks goofy to me. shoes look clown-ish, the blazer on top looks way too tight.. needs to be more slouchy for that to work, kind of EG-esque.

honestly the biggest problem with SVB's jacket is that it's both too short (especially with the button stance) and too boxy, and the pattern itself is kind of ugly

jabonator: jeans are too slim for how loose the sweater is. also think you should get them hemmed. not a fan of boots, but hard to tell from that angle. i would ditch the dorky cap too.

Yeah its a bit feminine; but it doesn't really bother me that much. I can understand how others wouldn't lke it.

Jacket is a bit tight, but I didn't really have another one that worked and I wanted to try something new.

Same sentiment as above, I agree. I need new boots too ;(

Maybe this jacket would be better?

@jabonator
^ hm knit? how to size?
honestly I think that would look sick with an EG bedford in charcoal.

I'm really digging EG these days. I can't help but think all the SZjugend who spent a fortune on Paul Harnden could have been just as served by EG for that aesthetic.

I think Fuuma figured that out long ago.

EG is fucking sick. I particularly enjoy how it can span from a very workwear aesthetic to borderline paul harden type of stuff. LETS ALL WEAR EG YAY.

also, still want the eg shawl.
