Eh yea I guess I could put more effort into my fits, but I sorta want to wait until I feel like they're actually something special, more than just an outfit for a day, ya know?

Once I round out my wardrobe a bit more, I may start taking proper shots

My point isn't that anyone should start using high-quality cameras, or choosing the perfect sunset scenery as a backdrop for their wayw, or take pictures of every "cool" thing that they do in a given day/week/whatever. I just meant to say that the fits some people post (e.g. yourself and the others I'd mentioned by name) would probably receive significantly more positive feedback since those fits are already so good. And I didn't imply that anyone's objective was that very (positive) feedback; I simply suggested that these are the kinds of fits that would garner tremendous appreciation if they were better represented. Not trying to prescribe anything to anyone, just wanted to state how much I liked certain fits whose photographic representation leaves them rather understated.

Simply put, to "get" an outfit and appreciate it you have to be able to see the outfit as a whole.

Poutine is highly overrated. It's good for the first few bites, but the gravy makes the fries soggy too quickly and then it becomes a mushy pile of grease. Nachos are by far the superior sauce-covered drunk food.

re: chunky boots, I feel like docs are good beater boots that everyone can work into the wardrobes somehow or another. really a fan of that silhouette

i like the doc silhouette but the sole/stitching color and shinny, cheap looking leather really makes them a non starter for me, personally.
