Weird, I thought Chicago was the only one. I didn't know a 30 degree weather spike was normal, at least this early in the fall. Who knew weather like that was considered predictable.

Outfit is kind of a mess; I don't know what I was thinking with this mish-mosh other than these were the clothes that weren't dirty at this point in my trip. Luckily the apartment we stayed at in Monaco had laundry so it was better after this. We were waiting for the Casino to open when the weather cleared up, at which point we decided to just go to the beach instead.

Love these boots. Style/season?

Warning: LOTS OF LIFESTYLE SHOTS (Click to show)

view from our airbnb apartment. this place was rad and extremely affordable in a town that's anything but. if anyone is traveling to Monaco and wants the info, don't hesitate to send me a PM

There were a whole bunch of US WWII vehicles next to the Palace to celebrate the anniversary of the liberation of Monaco by the Americans. The story (supposedly) goes that apparently the Germans had taken off a week before but everyone was nervous they might be coming back. Instead, two American GIs, including future-author Irwin Shaw, came down the road from Menton, pulled up at the first bar, ordered a couple drinks, and announced the liberation of Monaco. I disapproved of the speed limit of this particular military vehicle, however.

I really want to meet whatever baller that decided the American car that he just HAD to import and drive around Monaco was a late-80s Cavalier convertible.

Jaeger-bombs (and blue shirt party)

This is my Jaeger-bomb face, not to be confused with my karaoke face (see Epaulet thread)

view from the apartment at night

no big deal

Thanks! I don't know their season actually; they are from line 10 but if you want more info maybe ask lesamourai as I bought them from him on B&S.

Also maybe you want to spoiler my pics?

You gents here seem far more genteel.
My question is as follows:
I washed 22 pairs of Pantherella cotton and wool socks yesterday by machine handwash-cycle, load size Large.  But I accidentally put in detergent for Load size Medium.

Do I wash again, or just let it slide?
 Thanks in advance.
