This is probably one of the first The-Arm fits that I haven't really dug. For me, the Supreme hat, crew-neck sweatshirt, and chucks kinda clash with the layering and skewed proportions of the rest of the fit.
I support the idea of mixing high with low, combining aesthetics, &c. instead of just aping one particular style out any personal touches. This just takes the idea a little to far in my opinion, with half of the outfit at war with the other half.
As a caveat, I'm the person saying this, so, you know, whatever.
That's cool man I'm willing to take any and all constructive criticism.
Personally I feel like stylistically everything is working within the realms of casual: cap, sweat, shorts, cons are all casual garments yes?.....proportions are loose, and on my 6 ft 4" frame very comfortable. But honestly thank you for taking the time to explain why you don't think it works rather than just saying....shit!

I need to change out the contrast laces for plain old white.
To me, the shoes are out of place. I know you know everything about lasts and this is probably a casual last lol but to the average guy like me it looks formal. Sneakers would be best
Edit: White or grey sneaker
Gbear, dope. I really like that cwu. Pretty much exactly how I'd wear it except with boots
What shoes are those? it's a great shape
Snake, I'm going to thumb up that fit as soon as I get back on my comp
Black and blue combo looks awesome

Yeah man they are a bit formal. The "average guy" instincts are usually pretty good in telling what's formal or not, even if they can't tell what makes it formal.
They would be less formal if they were derbies like Aeglus' Trickers as opposed to oxfords with the closed lacing. I can't really do anything about that so the only option for me is to beat them up a bit, and they're just gonna look out of place until that naturally occurs. Could've worn margielas but these shoes need more wear.
Next on my shoe buying list is some type of jodhpur in a sand/tan colour. I'm moving away from sneakers and I think that'll help fill in the gaps.
joining the shitty-footwear-choice crew ( was too lazy to put on CP combats) that's happening as of late, nice fit other wise guys, the threads been so good
Had forgotten how good this thread can be. Over the summer it was a bit weak, but now that it's getting chillier and people are getting to put together more interesting fits to show off for their internet friends, it's been awesome.
