This might be nitpicky but something about your tucked in shirt + the rise of your jeans + the length of your arms makes the proportions look weird to me. maybe I'm just super used to the proportions of SW&D though!

when you say you're transitioning from MC casual, how far did you wanna go?

i think generally tucking button ups into jeans is a weird business casual compromise that rarely works.

especially with low rise jeans. you get that unflattering v shape at the front with bunched up sides.

Seeing as everyone was posting buttero's a few pages back I thought I'd throw up a fit with mine.  They're ankle-strap biker boots not the combats, and not exactly a sleek last as you can probably see, but I like them.

Heh, I mostly meant I think I'll be posting in this thread vs. the MC casual one, partially because my style is moving to be less formal and also because from what I've read, the critiques in this thread seem to be more constructive and positive. My office is jacketless. Jeans and t-shirts are the norm. I like to keep it buttoned down with jeans, chinos, boots, etc. I guess my ideal is somewhere between SW&D and MC casual... NOBD style.

I would consider not tucking your shirt in, let your jeans down a bit, and see what that looks like. right now it looks unnaturally stiff.
