I wasn't calling snowman danny devito. I said the pants looked like they were Devito's, meaning they were too wide and short on him.

Can we all move on now? Cool.

I don't even get how you're supposed to "explain" the appeal of any clothing at all, really. You like what you like.

Welp marg, looks like your time here on SF has come to a close

^highly doubt it. I apparently ignited an estrogen volcano in this thread, and I'll probably creep on elsewhere.

You just went about soliciting information in a sort of backhanded manner. There are plenty of people here that will gladly provide thoughtful answers to your query (just see the Yohji thread, for instance), but you do yourself no favors when your question is phrased in a way that implies you've already written off the aesthetic (i.e. "why are you spending hundreds of dollars to look like you're wearing Danny DeVito's pants?").

alright, i take back what i said. don't bother reading the YY thread, if you can't restrain your "internet cool guy" posts, sf doesn't really need a clueless and misogynistic poster shitting up multiple threads

"My mind is made up! I shall now insult you and challenge you to change it!"

Don't know why anyone caters to the demands of these types. It's not like they're interested in learning anything.

I have this feeling it'll be a Hank vs. Walt showdown. Maybe Walt's son will kill him, that'd be quite an outcome

People slaughter Hagg for untucked shirts with a blazer but can't stop stroking Snowman for the anti-fit. It blows my mind. Someone please enlighten me.
i like this comparison because we were both wearing the same thing basically (if you break it down)
button up and pants (i wore trousers and he wore chinos)

it just shows an infinite way to wear said items ranging from hagg to snow. pretty cool.
anyways to answer the question i think its just a preference. my pants arent extremely out of place or anti-fit by any standards, i think. rick/yohji/damir really push the limit in that realm.
i liked what i wore in my last fit because it felt good/comfy, had some interesting details, and the dirty painted sneakers broke up the cleanliness of the rest of the outfit. if i was to wear oxfords that would have been a whole new look and not really me.

yang li bomber is so casual but so elegant at the same time. its like putting on a finely tailored blazer drool.gif love the double interfacing!!
