Stanley's outfits aren't rattle-the-earth great or anything, but he's come a ways since his he started and has always been open to constructive criticism, both of which, I think, help the perception of his current offerings.
Oh, and the inclusion of explosions and dames, too.
SvB probably gets a lot of points because the photography is good.
He never looks bad, but I agree, that they're rarely inspiring, or anything too special. He's just a consistently well-dressed guy, and there's nothing wrong with that.
Good points. I vaguely remember one SvB fit I thought was awful, but other than that he really never looks bad. And I probably fall under the "consistently well-dressed guy" category as well, so no hate. Except in summer. I look like shit.
My band played a show this past weekend. Sweltering heat, no AC. Tied my shirt around my waist, a la tween. I can't figure out if I looked awful or okay? Need to find pics to assess the situation.
