Thanks aether for the reality check. I do feel the same hence I announced halting all further purchases as of July.

One real self-check I got was catching up with a friend yesterday night. Will be heading tot Napa this weekend and realized I have nothing "appropriate" to wear. I could be decked head to toe in black but I feel really out of place.

Anyways I think I went through a phase my first 3 months after smelling money in hand and went on a kopping spree. Slowing it down now after I actually put some wear in my clothes then decide on what to purge or buy more of.

impolyt: Yes they are Barney's house brand. Got a nice pair of derbies and cap toes. Cap toes feel very comfortable on foot all day. The derbies (photoed) hurt my left foot a bit as I think it is just a fraction too narrow.

Trying to slowly maneuver up the MC footwear chain. Allen Edmonds are nice but a bit bulky. I still like the shape of the Leeds model...similar to the Raf derbies.

Here's a tip stop buying black so you don't look like an idiot out in civilization.

actually I know exactly what you mean. It was just a sort of random throw together. It's funny because I was more thinking about the colors than anything else and you saw more in the look then I had ever intentioned but now that you pointed it out, it makes sense. I'll rework these pieces. Thanks!

I dunno man—makes you look super short. Especially with that door frame behind you.

Someone should remove the doorframe and see if that helps

lol, now that i look at it, it does give off the short appearance. need to find a different location or knock down the doorframe as bam suggested.
