Stazy, that's the best way I've seen you wear that sweater, but the jeans look uncomfortably tight in the "top block"
Yeahhh. I had two pictures. In one of them, my jacket looks fucked up and in this one my jeans do. I chose the lesser of two evils even though they both fit fine. Thanks for all the thumbs. If only these internet points were worth something.
Thanks aether for the reality check. I do feel the same hence I announced halting all further purchases as of July.
One real self-check I got was catching up with a friend yesterday night. Will be heading tot Napa this weekend and realized I have nothing "appropriate" to wear. I could be decked head to toe in black but I feel really out of place.
Anyways I think I went through a phase my first 3 months after smelling money in hand and went on a kopping spree. Slowing it down now after I actually put some wear in my clothes then decide on what to purge or buy more of.
impolyt: Yes they are Barney's house brand. Got a nice pair of derbies and cap toes. Cap toes feel very comfortable on foot all day. The derbies (photoed) hurt my left foot a bit as I think it is just a fraction too narrow.
Trying to slowly maneuver up the MC footwear chain. Allen Edmonds are nice but a bit bulky. I still like the shape of the Leeds model...similar to the Raf derbies.
really interesting that you'd take that feather tee, a piece that's "romantic" in an Ann D sort of sense, and pair it with rugged looking cargo shorts. Not sure yet if I dig the (here's that word again) juxtaposition, but you get uniqueness points
actually I know exactly what you mean. It was just a sort of random throw together. It's funny because I was more thinking about the colors than anything else and you saw more in the look then I had ever intentioned but now that you pointed it out, it makes sense. I'll rework these pieces. Thanks!
