The thing about CDHagg's fits is that I always get the vibe that he's wearing those items because they're the only ones he has. Like, if he's wearing black lace-ups, they're his only pair. If he wants to wear a blazer, then he's got just that one. As a result, nothing really meshes together- it's just a facsimile of a fit he's got in his head.

I'm not trying to knock people that can only afford one of each kind of item (though I doubt that's him since after all, he has an espresso machine and enjoys opera) but it often looks like instead of wearing the item that would go best, he wears what he's got that's the closest thing to it.

I think his boots cost more than your whole outfit actually.  Fuuma how come you wear uniqlo when you have all those fancy jackets in your closet?

HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF KNITTED WOOL IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY SWEATER. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR HUMANS AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT FOR YOU. HATE. HATE

Just cause they are made well doesn't mean they look good. Im not really a fan of those shoes either.

Hope that helps

In some of Slimane's runway photos, the models wear slim-fit white "dress" shirts with small point collars (don't think I've ever seen an OCBD).  Mine isn't a Dior shirt, but I've always felt that an OCBD is too preppy/stuffy to go with the Dior aesthetic.  Maybe I'm off base, though...

But thanks for the input!  'preciate it.

EDIT:  Eason, I don't have just one blazer and one pair of shoes, but I certainly don't have a large wardrobe either.  You've actually hit the nail on the head - I'm just working with what I have.

Notwithstanding construction methods (maker is kind of key here though), the elongated last is pretty awkward. The toe is aggressively wedged-shaped and the cap stitch is minimalistic so the toe looks long and flat. The flash is also making the leather look worse than it might be in real life. The combined effect makes them look super mall-brand. They're not unforgivable they just have... questionable elements. I'm talking about the oxfords here, I just realized you posted 2 different shoes.

What is this I don't even?

Those are 2 completely different methods of shoe construction. Like saying you have a canvased fused jacket.
