to be honest I think it might not look half bad without the Folk shirt on

Agreed. Jacket is awesome, hate the shirt sticking out so far below it. Don't hate the jeans.

biceps width of your jacket is too big, and your jeans look weird at the knees.
but apart from these, looks alright. take note from clark kent ^

How come so many people have nice clothing and what appears to be crappy living conditions?

not to be rude, it just seems the two should go hand in hand.

in my case i have to live with my parents till i graduate college due to financial aid/tuition. not sure about everybody else.

guess i dont "have" to live with them. i just wouldnt be able to afford living on my own and paying for college and everything else.

edit: not even sure if hoozah was referring to me, but it made me think.. i've been living in the same room/house for close to 10 years. even if i could afford my own place i dont think i would at this point in my life. maybe its cuz i'm still young or whatever, but i'm content at my parents home even if we do live in the "hood" of a tiny ass city haha. i would probably invest in a really nice car before a really nice place.

'Baller' sneakers: $300-$400.

Nice house- $500,000+

I think the majority of posters here aren't particularly rich, just choose clothes over jetskis or whatever it is that the middle class spends their 'extra' money on.

"Invest" in a car? Lol.

when i buy a car it will probably be a subaru STI or WRX and i would drop sooo much on after-market shit that it would take me a good amount of time to have it finished and to my liking. so yes "invest" is definitely the proper term.
Invest here used colloquially as a large up-front purchase that will have a long-term benefit.

Don't be a cock.

Still, it's hard to not cringe when people use the term invest regarding cars

I only invest in Greek sovereign debt, Facebook shares, and derivatives managed by JP Morgan.
