A cotton blazer would be better, I think, but wool is all I've got right now.  I've also been searching for a good (but cheap) pair of double-monks, since I'm aware that these shoes are less than stellar. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
This is a lot worse than most of what you've posted, IMO. People have already pointed out the issues with the pants and those awful, awful shoes, but I'll add that the jacket looks a touch long in the sleeve and maybe even a little big in the shoulder.

Are blacked-out Docs an option here? Probably cheaper and easier to come by than a really good pair of derbies.

These pants look way better on you than the ones you posted before, at least in this photo. Do you have anything along the lines of a cardigan, maybe a little on the stretchy/chunky side? It might actually work with your drop instead of hiding it the way some of the other stuff does.

how has nobody mentioned that this really, desperately needs an untucked shirt?

If you get a chance take another shot like that, but also while standing with one hand in a pants pocket, with the jacket pulled behind that arm on that side and the other hand hanging free. Just casual, you know?

I actually do have a pretty chunky cardigan from jcrew that I like, it's just that now it's summer and I sweat a lot.

This. I always wear v necks because they also help to spread a bit across the chest to help with broad shoulders. I literally own no crew necks because of this.

I've been wearing skinny black jeans and leather-daddy jackets for years, but no one's offered me a place in an orgy yet. Or even called me a fag. Maybe I'm doing it wrong frown.gif
