The colors aren't that light though.

Edit: To Istasi - I have been meaning to get some derbys but a stereo purchase and a complete hardcover edition of Proust works has set me back.

It helps, with drapey shit, to see the drape, as opposed to just seeing an outline. biggrin.gif

Love that suit, Auburn. I like the sneaker idea, but think it would be even better with a more minimal shoe. maybe even an all black Chuck. and of course a black work boot would be cool, too. Great look!

You can only tell me that my shoes are crap so many times. As I said, I am working to fix the problem.

Point taken about the stacking, though.

A cotton blazer would be better, I think, but wool is all I've got right now.  I've also been searching for a good (but cheap) pair of double-monks, since I'm aware that these shoes are less than stellar.

It looks like the pants are a lot looser below the knee than above, the stacking just echos this effect. I'd suggest hemming the pants, it'll probably fix how it looks.

main problem besides the stacking is that the black blazer is much too formal for the rest of the outfit....

Maybe I'm missing something, but does this give off a homosexual vibe? I was approached by two gay men while wearing this who asked me if I wanted to come to an orgy of theirs (no bullshit), and to top it all off a 14 year old kid called me a fag outside of Whole Foods. No this does not happen often.
